Illusion

Illusion is a beneficial effect of altering a player character's or pet's appearance. While the the only criteria for illusion is a cosmetic change in the appearance of the player or pet, certain illusions bestow additional effects, such as combat innates, increased resistances, increased run speeds, levitation, water-breathing and others.
Due to game mechanics, illusions do not zone. A player character or pet wearing an illusion will find it stripped upon entering the new zone. Enchanters, Bards and Rogues can each gain an Alternate Advancement that allows them to retain their illusions through zoning, as well as the benefit of a vastly extended duration.
Most illusions spells (and clickies) are "self-only." Targetable and group illusions exist, but only certain spells allow for this.
